Glazier

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Glaziers for projects located in and around North Las Vegas, NV.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Glazier and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Install all types of glass including annealed, tempered, laminated, wired, insulated, low-e, tinted, and bullet-resistant glass.
• Set glass in windows (residential and commercial), doors (including automatic and revolving), storefronts, skylights, and curtain wall systems.
• Install and glaze aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems, channel glazing systems, structural silicone and point-supported systems.
• Install glass handrails and guardrails.
• Install interior and architectural glass such as mirrors, glass partitions, shower enclosures, decorative/art glass, switchable privacy glass, fire-rated glass, and electrochromic glazing.
• Apply caulking, silicone, butyl, and other sealants as required to secure glass and ensure weatherproofing.
• Cut, grind, drill, and polish glass if shop work is involved.
• Use cranes, suction cups, and robotic glass manipulators for handling large glass units.
• Remove and dispose of broken or damaged glass.
• Re-glaze existing windows and doors.
• Safely handle glass and operate lifts, scaffolds, and other equipment.

Requirements:

• • Experience working with a variety of glass types, glazing systems, and installation methods

  • Basic Tools of the Trade
  • Standard PPE
