Roofer Helper

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Roofer Helpers for projects located in Austintown, OH. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $22/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Support foremen in the installation and removal of roofing systems.

• Assist with the tear-off of old roofing materials.

• Clean and prep roofs for new material installation.

• Maintain a strong understanding of safety procedures related to roofing.

• Set up fall protection systems and other safety equipment as required.

• Responsible for handling, holding, and supplying tools or materials on site.

• Maintain tools and equipment before and after work.

• Perform job site clean-up and material organization.

• Must be able to safely climb ladders and work at heights.

Requirements:

• • Must have: Hard hat, safety glasses, work boots, gloves, basic hand tools: hammer, flat bar, insulation knife.
  • Physically fit and able to perform demanding labor tasks.
  • Able to climb ladders and work at heights safely.
