Linemen

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Linemen for projects located in and around Andalusia, AL. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $25-35/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Linemen and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Pull wire
• Construct, maintain, & inspect overhead electrical power lines
• Climb utility poles or use bucket trucks to access equipment 
• Route & reroute power lines over, under, or around existing lines & structures
• Assist in carrying poles, digging holes, & other operations involved in setting or replacing poles
• Operate bucket trucks for line maintenance tasks
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in transmission or distribution powerline construction
• Ability to climb poles & operate bucket trucks safely
• Proficiency with Ohmmeters, Voltmeters, & other electrical testing equipment
• Commercial DL 
• Clean driving record
• Welding skills are a plus
• Background Check 
• Proper PPE
• Hand Tools
