HVAC Service Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced HVAC Service Technicians for projects located in Gig Harbor, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:           

• Install, service, and repair heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems in residential settings
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems
• Perform routine maintenance checks, cleanings, and tune-ups
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners to explain technical issues and recommend solutions
• Complete work orders, documentation, and maintenance records accurately
• Adhere to safety protocols, codes, and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, both in the field and in company vehicles
• Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC certification or diploma from an accredited trade school (preferred)
• Valid EPA Section 608 Certification Type II or Universal
• Minimum 2 years of experience in residential HVAC service and installation
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with smart thermostats and home automation systems
• Experience with both gas and electric systems
• Knowledge of local HVAC codes and permitting process
• NATE Certification is a plus
• Lift up to 75 lbs
• Climb ladders
• Work in tight or elevated spaces
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
