Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in Blythewood, SC.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $26-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:     

• Installing and connecting 2-inch copper piping for various systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for pipe layouts
• Cutting, threading, and assembling copper pipes using the appropriate tools
• Performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing plumbing systems as needed

• Proven experience as a pipefitter/plumber with specific expertise in working with copper piping

• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety practices

• Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, torches, and soldering tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
