Industrial Refrigeration Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Refrigeration Technicians for projects located in and around Avon, , NY.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Industrial Refrigeration Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Perform maintenance and repairs of plant ammonia refrigeration, compressed air, steam, and HVAC systems
• Operate ammonia refrigeration and steam systems safely and efficiently
• Monitor systems through control room SCADA
• Conduct routine rounds and inspections
• Perform diagnostic analysis on mechanical and electrical systems
• Support QRMP audit processes and participate in emergency response team

Requirements:

• • Prior Industrial Refrigeration or HVAC Maintenance Experience
  • CFC Type I & II certification (EPA); preferred
  • Third Class Stationary Engineer or Refrigeration Operator license preferred (training available)
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and wear SCBA (Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus) gear
  • Flexibility for all shifts, weekends, and holidays
