HVAC Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Apprentice HVAC Technicians for projects located in the Decatur, GA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $22-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:         

• Operate and monitor large-capacity centrifugal chiller units (Trane and York, 1,000-ton each)
• Oversee the operation of cooling towers, pumps, and related HVAC equipment
• Adjust system settings to maintain proper chilled water supply temperatures
• Monitor system status through the Building Management System (BMS)
• Respond to BMS alarms and out-of-range operating conditions in a timely and efficient manner
• Document system performance and report anomalies to supervisory staff
• Support preventative maintenance and troubleshooting efforts as needed
