Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Welder Laborers for projects located in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $23-27/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Fabrication of parts such as:

  • Ventilation shafts

  • Exhaust hoods

  • Dust collection piping

  • Material handling equipment

• Other tasks assigned 

• MIG Welding Experience (16 gauge to 3/8” mild steel, including galvanized)

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings and work specifications

• Ability to fit and join sheet metal parts using welding, soldering, and related tools

• Must have basic tools of the trade and standard PPE
• Must be able to pass a weld test
