Facilities Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Facilities Maintenance Technicians for projects located in Durham, NC.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:  

• Perform interior and exterior painting, power washing, and drywall repairs

• Maintain and repair bay doors, sliding doors, door bumpers, and seals

• Service commissary carts, speed racks, and pallet jacks (fluids, chains, castors)

• Replace outlet protectors and reattach conduit piping

• Assemble furniture, storage racks, and light equipment

• Conduct minor plumbing repairs as needed

• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines

• Proactively communicate any repair needs or site concerns

Requirements:

• • Minimum 2 years of experience in general commercial maintenance or handyman work

  • Comfortable using power tools and standard maintenance equipment

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift

  • Must have basic hand tools and standard PPE

  • OSHA 10 and/or basic mechanical certifications preferred

  • Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic are essential
