HVAC Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in the Durham, NC area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $28-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Inspect HVAC systems and their components: heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.

• Evaluate condition of units
• Identify necessary repairs
• Recommend preventive maintenance

• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems to provide enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed to ensure ongoing functioning of HVAC systems

• Repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components: pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.

• Diagnose problems and provide technical guidance and assistance to assigned employees

• 2+ years of commercial HVAC experience

• Valid driver's license

• Must have reliable transportation to use onsite

• Able to develop plans, troubleshoot systems, etc.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

• All PPE
• Basic hand, power tools, multi-meter, voltage tester, thermometer, and psychrometer
