Machine Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Operators for projects located in Canyon, TX. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $26/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:    

• Use electronic tracking systems such as sub-site to locate track and guide the drill head during bore operations

   

• Maintain constant communication with the drill operator to provide real time feedback and guidance during drilling

• Identify locate and pothole existing utilities using locating equipment to prevent conflicts and ensure safe drilling
• Read and interpret bore plans blueprints and utility maps to determine the correct bore path
• Assist with pre-construction site checks including potholing to expose existing utilities as needed
• Maintain accurate and up to date bore logs tracking data and as built records for project files
• Using the boring machine to create holes of various sizes and shapes including drilling, boring, reaming, and milling operations
• Follow all company industry and OSHA safety standards and ensure safe practices at the job site
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on locating equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality

•  Must know how to use an excavator and trencher
