Conveyor Belt Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians for projects located in and around Fontana, CA.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $30-40/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Conveyor Belt Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Perform Full Conveyor Belt Change-outs and Mechanical Repairs
• Conduct Pulley and Idler Maintenance and Alignments
• Complete Preventative Maintenance Routines on Conveying Systems 
• Safely Operate Tools and Mechanical Equipment used in Belt Installation and Repair
• Travel to Various Job Sites and Work in Rugged Industrial Environments (Per Diem, Drive Time, and Housing Provided for Duration of those Travel Projects)

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 4 Years of Hands-on Experience with Conveyor Systems in Industrial or Mining Environments
  • Active MSHA Certification Part 46 or 48; Acceptable OSHA 10 or 30 Cert is Preferred
  • Able to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
  • Strong Mechanical Aptitude
  • Comfortable Working in Cement, Aggregate, or Energy Plant Settings
  • Able to Travel and Commit to the Full Project Deadline
  • Reliable Transportation
