Millwright

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Millwrights for projects located in and around Brewton, AL. This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of up to $35/hour based on experience & skill level plus $150/per diem for travelers of 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Perform stick welding to repair & maintain heavy industrial machinery
• Inspect, troubleshoot, & diagnose mechanical issues to minimize downtime
• Read & interpret blueprints, technical drawings, & parts diagrams to guide fabrication & repair work
• Apply working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor & generator systems, motor controls, drive systems, & coupling alignment
• Use electrical meters to verify motor amperage & overall system integrity
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in Foundries or Metal Casting Environments
• Must be proficient in stick welding, machinery repairs, & millwright mechanic tasks
