Painter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Painters for projects located in and around Wellsville, NY. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $22-26/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Painter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Paint interior & exterior of structures, buildings, & other surfaces using various tools & techniques
• Prepare walls & surfaces (scraping, sanding, removing old paint, etc.)
• Filling cracks & holes with appropriate materials (such as plaster)
• Paint according to instructions
• Apply varnish & finishes
• Operate at various heights using ladders & lifts
• Spray, cut, & backroll 
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience with Interior & Exterior Painting; 2+ Years of Experience
• Ability to work at heights
• Hand Tools
• Proper PPE
• Punctual & Reliable
• Detail-oriented
