Marine Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Welders for projects located in the Alameda, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $33/hour based on experience plus $180/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:      

• Join various metals using complex thermal process in the overhaul, repair, and construction of naval vessels
• Other tasks as assigned

• Knowledge of weld symbols
• Experience in shipyard welding
• Must have basic welding tools 
• Must have recent experience with dual shield fluxcore welding processes FCAW
• Fitting experience is a plus 
• Must have OSHA 10 Maritime and Firewatch Certifications 
• Must have respirator fit completed prior to starting
