HVAC Installer / Service Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman HVAC Service Technicians & Installers for projects located in the Rockford, IL area. This is a first shift opportunity, with a pay rate up to $36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are an HVAC Service Technician or Installer eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope: 

• Install new units
• Routine maintenance
• Repair/service work 
• Install HVAC equipment; furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, etc. 
• Ensure all electrical and gas connections are safe
• Troubleshoot issues
• Repair or replace worn and defective parts
• Fabricate & install ducts, and duct fittings
• Perform startup on air conditioning systems
• Repair refrigerants, txv, and compressors

• 3+ years of HVAC experience
