Concrete Worker

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Finishers and Laborers for projects located in and around Pittsburgh, PA.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Concrete Finisher or Laborer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Prepare foundation structures for concrete pours, ensuring correct alignment and elevation of edge forms
• Set forms to ensure proper pitch and depth; align forms using stakes, levels, and string lines
• Review form-work for compliance with project specifications, ensuring proper line and grade
• Construct beams, slabs, columns, and panels, readying them for concrete pours
• Mold and shape forms using various materials (wood, metal, composite, plastic) for concrete
• Finish concrete surfaces by floating, troweling, and grooving to achieve required texture
• Apply curing compounds and perform saw cutting to ensure concrete quality
• Use hand tools and powered machinery to create smooth, uniform concrete finishes
• Maintain professionalism, monitor weather conditions, and meet production targets while adhering to safety procedures and project time-lines
• Cut control joints with hand tools or power saws
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 3 Years of Concrete Finishing or Labor Experience
  • Reliable Transportation and Attendance
  • Ability to Meet Production Goals and Perform Physically Demanding Tasks
  • Familiarity with Construction Site Safety Practices and Tool Usage
