Low Voltage Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in the Rochester, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $21-25/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:       

• Monitor & install low-voltage cables and systems for electronic equipment and communication devices
• Analyze blueprints & schematics to connect the cables safely and accurately
• Install & configure optical network terminals, modems, and routers
• Install IP cameras, VOIP phones, T1 extensions, telephone and fiber backbones, CCTV cameras, monitors, power supplies, and receivers in commercial and residential structures
• Install, configure, test, and maintain all life safety systems including but not limited to fire, burglary, surveillance cameras, digital video recorders, access control systems, intercom, network clocks, freezer/cooler probes, audio, security/HVAC pressure sensors, all related cabling, and other systems as assigned
• Troubleshoot & repair faulty equipment or conditions
• Maintenance & upgrade of all life safety systems hardware and software
• Respond to dispatched service calls in a timely manner
• Report issues requiring vendor escalation or parts/materials
• Run & pull wire on ladders

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
