Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Electricians for projects located in and around San Diego, CA.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $28/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Marine Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

  • Install, Repair, and Hook up Equipment for all Electrical Services on the Ship
  • Lay out, Pull/Lift Out, Install Cable and Conduit
  • Prepare Work Area
  • Drill Holes and Grind Metal Surfaces and Weld Mounting Equipment
  • Test Electrical Equipment

Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 Years of Recent Work Experience as an Electrician in the Shipyard
    • Knowledge of Electrical Mechanical and Shipbuilding Practices
    • Ability to use Power and Hand Tools
    • Able to Read Composite Blueprints, Computer Printouts, and Navy Standards Manual
    • Able to Pass Drug Screen and Background Check
    • Marine OSHA 10 and Firewatch Training; TI will provide training who do not have current Certifications
