Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Fort Eustis, VA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is prevailing wage at $51.17/hour.  Job Scope:        

• Install and repair piping systems 
• Work with hand and power tools 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with piping systems 
• Identify solutions and make necessary repairs 
• Thread pipes
• Solder and attach fittings 
• Other tasks assigned 

• Must have an understanding of different piping systems materials and fittings including welding brazing and other joining methods
• Ability to interpret technical drawings schematics and plans
• Understanding of relevant local state and national plumbing and safety codes
• Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
