Pump Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pump Mechanics for projects located in and around Long Beach, CA.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $35-40/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Pump Mechanic and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Disassemble, Reassemble, Install, and Provide Field Service for Pumps and Associated Mechanical Equipment
• Rotating Equipment, Cooling Towers, Hot Water Pumps, Blowers
• Install and Align Pumps and Mechanical Systems ensuring Proper Setup for Optimal Performance
• Perform Testing after Installation to ensure Proper Functionality and Troubleshoot any Issues
• Regular Inspection, Lubrication, and Alignment of Pumps to Maintain Efficiency and Prevent Wear

Requirements:

• • Expertise in Various Pump Types including Centrifugal, Diaphragm, Gear, and Piston Pumps
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic Systems, Rotating Equipment, and Mechanical Components, Bearings, Seals, Shafts
  • Familiarity with OEM Procedures, Specifications, and Best Practices for Pump Repair and Maintenance 
  • Valid Driver's License
