CNC Vertical Mill Machinist / CNC Bridge Mill Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Vertical Mill Machinists / CNC Bridge Mill Machinists for projects located in the Green Bay, WI area. This is a full time opportunity, and the pay rate is $35/hour based on experience plus $100/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:         

• Confirm vise alignment to the machine
•  Review small basic weldment and setup sheets
• Problem-solve any concerns during setup
• Understand and assist with basic programming
• Work with the team to address programming or operational concerns
• Run right angle head programs
• Operate all vertical machines
• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment
• Interpret and work from complex drawings and blueprints
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document them
• Notify supervisors of nonconforming work
• Maintain accurate logs of job times and specifications for audit reports
• Maintain a clean workspace and equipment
• Follow established safety procedures

• 4 years of machining experience
• 3 years of experience with Haas controls
• 3 years of experience with Fanuc Bridge Mill controls
• Proficient with precision measuring tools such as Go/No-Go gauges, calipers, inside micrometers, and probes
• Experience with virtual Gibbs and G-code programming
• Ability to machine large and complex weldments
