Concrete Worker

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Workers of all skill levels for projects located in and around Charleston, SC.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $24/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Concrete Finisher or Laborer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Prepare Foundations of Structures for pour
• Verify Elevations, Set Edge Forms, and Review Formwork for Line and Grade
• Construct Beams Slab on Grade Columns and Panels for Pour
• Mold, Shape, or Form Wood, Metal Composite, or Plastic Forms to Pour Concrete
• Finish Surfaces by Floating, Troweling, and Grooving
• Apply Curing Compound and Saw Cutting as Required
• Trowel to Create Final Texture of Concrete, both by Hand and Powered Machine
• Check Work for Quality and Chip, Scrape, and Grind High Spots, Ridges, and Rough Projections to Finish Concrete using Pneumatic Chisels, Power Grinders, or Hand Tools
• Follow and Perform Proper Cleanup Procedures
• Perform Demolition Work
• Operate all Types of Hand Tools, Equipment
• Demolish and/or Construct Interior/Exterior Partitions for Weather Protection
• Provide input on Jobsite Logistics, Organization Layout, Equipment, and Manpower Utilization
