Journeyman Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Industrial Electricians for projects located in and around the Minden, LA area. This is a first shift opportunity, with a pay range of up to $32/hour based on experience plus $100/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:        

• Install Complex Conduit Configurations
• Pull Wire
• Terminations
• Hand Bend Conduit
• Make Correct, Complex EMT Piping Bends with Minimal Waste or Joints
• Install Conduit Stub ups for Customer Supplied Equipment
• Installing Standard and More Complex Conduit and Electrical Components into Buildings
• Install UPS Systems, DLO Cables, Fire Alarm Panels
• Setting and Switching Gears

• Minimum of 6 Years of Experience as an Electrician - Data Center Experience is Required
• Knowledge of NEC Codes, Color Codes, American Wire Gage, Voltage, and Conduit Deductions
• Recent Commercial EMT Conduit Bending Experience is a Must, Industrial Experience is Preferred
• Experience with UPS Systems, DLO Cables, Fire Alarm Panels, Setting and Switching Gears
• Able to Read and Interpret Blueprints
• Standard PPE
• License is Preferred, but not Required
