Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Garnett, KS area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems associated with gas appliances, heaters, and generators
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in combined gas/electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national codes for electrical and gas safety. Conduct safety inspections and preventative maintenance
• Coordinate with plumbers, HVAC technicians, and other trades on job sites. Maintain detailed service and maintenance records
• Respond to emergency calls and service requests as needed

• Kansas JM Electrical License or reciprocating state
• 4+ years of experience
• Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and gas-powered equipment while ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and safety regulations
• Must have or willing to get OSHA 10
• All electrical tools
• All PPE
