Deck Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Deck Electricians for projects located in and around Newport News, VA.  This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Deck Electrician eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope: 

• Layoff and Mount Electrical Equipment and Wireways
• Install Cable Penetrations in Equipment
• Cable Installation, Cable Terminations, Cut-In, and Hook-Up

Requirements: 

• • 3+ Years of Experience in the Electrical Field; Industrial, Marine, or Commercial Nuclear Applications
  • Able to Read and Interpret Shipboard Electrical Installation Drawings, Wiring Tables, Schematics, and Work Packages
  • Able to Work Independently with Proper Instructions
  • Proficient in the Use of Basic Electrical Meters and Test Instruments
  • Physically Able to Climb Vertical and Inclined Stairs and Ladders, Crawl, Bend, Stoop, Work at Heights, and Work in Confined Spaces
