Maintenance Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Mechanics for projects located in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is an opportunity with all shifts available and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:        

• Perform mechanical maintenance inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical or electromechanical systems
• Other tasks assigned 

• Strong experience or specific skills in industrial equipment troubleshooting
• Preventative maintenance, assembly, and disassembly experience
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems, welding, and metal fabrication
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling equipment
• Industrial maintenance experience is required
• Ability to understand and apply basic operating principles to solve practical problems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and operate heavy industrial equipment
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
