Shipfitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Shipfitters for projects located in the Wickliffe, KY area. This is a first & second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $24/hour based on experience plus $100/day working per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

• Repair work on towboats and river barges
• Work with stainless steel and some carbon work
• Read & interpret blueprints
• Layout from blueprints and modules
• Construction of barges, towboats, and marine equipment

• Fitter test
• Must pass drug screen, and respirator fit test
• All PPE
• Basic hand tools
