Ironworker

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Ironworkers for projects located in and around Guilderland, NY. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $25-27/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Ironworker and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Unload prefabricated steel components (beams, columns, girders)
• Lift and precisely position steel components using cranes
• Connect steel components together with bolts or welds
• Assemble metal framework of structure piece by piece
• Follow blueprints for assembly
• Utilize safety equipment for working at heights
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to operate cranes and hoisting equipment
• Knowledge of rigging and lifting procedures
• Skill in making steel connections (bolting and welding)
• Ability to read and follow blueprints
• Proficiency in using fall protection equipment
