Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter for projects located in Indianapolis, IN.  This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:           

• Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications 
• Working with saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment 
• Welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints 
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures such as; radiators or tanks 
• Working with brackets, clams, tools and/or welding equipment 
• Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipe lines 
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
• Lay out full scale drawings of pipe systems, supports and related equipment 
• Working with supports, hangers and hydraulic cylinders 
• Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings and related machines and equipment 
• Other tasks assigned
