Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Warehouse Room Associates for projects located in and around Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $22/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Warehouse Room Associate and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

  • Inventory control work
  • Coordinate transfer of tools & equipment execute & maintain accurate transaction records for the issue & receipt of company tools including rental items & tool room materials
  • Assure compliance with company tool room policies
  • Inspect all materials & equipment received & verify correctness of shipment against purchase orders, packing slips, other shipping documents
  • Inspect all shipments received for damage & document same report damage to the appropriate parties
  • Document & track the transfer of materials & equipment between locations 
  • Assure transferred items are properly packaged & handled 
  • Assure all material & equipment tagging requirements are executed & maintained
  • Issue & receive company tools including rental items & tool room materials, inventory, & maintain accurate database of all transactions
  • Order & track status of all consumables & equipment 
  • Prepare all calibration equipment for shipment & process & retain all new certifications
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the marine trade
  • 6+ Months of Experience in Material Control Position or Related Field
  • Must be US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen.
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass a 5 panel drug screen.
  • Must have Marine OSHA 10
  • Must have Maritime & Firewatch Certification
  • Must has HS Degree or Equivalent
  • Understanding of Marine & Industrial Materials Equipment 
  • Hand Tools
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to learn & effectively use company accounting & tool tracking software 
  • Ability to use and/or obtain an operators license
