Sheet Metal Duct Installer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Duct Installers for projects located in and around Dallas, TX.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Sheet Metal Duct Installer and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Installing VAVs and Ductwork 
• Attaching to HVAC Units, Sealing Joints, and Ensuring Proper Air Flow
• Interpreting HVAC Plans and Blueprints to Accurately Layout and Install Ductwork
• Taking Precise Measurements to Ensure Correct Duct Sizing and Fitting
• Install Various Duct Fittings, like elbows, transitions, and registers to properly direct airflow
• Inspect Installed Ductwork for Leaks, Proper Sealing, and Compliance with Building Codes

Requirements:

• • Able to Pass a Drug Screen and Background Check
  • Understanding of HVAC Systems, Air Flow Dynamics, and Duct Design Principles
  • Proficiency in using Tools like Shears, Brakes, and Welding Equipment to Fabricate Ductwork
  • Able to Take Precise Measurements and Ensure Proper Fit of Duct Components
  • Capability to Lift Heave Materials and Work in Various Positions throughout the Day
  • Able to Interpret and Follow HVAC Blueprints and Plans
  • Ability to Identify and Resolve Issues with Ductwork Installation
