RT Inspector

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced RT Inspectors for a projects located in & around South Newport News, VA. Job Scope:   

• Conduct RT Inspections on Piping
• Casting 
• Structural Welds
• Utilizing X-Ray & Gamma Radiography Techniques
• Perform & Document Inspections Including Calibration & Operation of Radiographic Equipment
• Navigate & Perform Tasks in Various Environments Including Climbing, Crawling & Confined Spaces 

• Certified Level II ASNT SNT-TC-1A (2001 Edition or later)
• Passed and Documented Certification of IRRSP from an Approved Entity.
• Demonstrated ability to pass written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical examinations for RT inspection
• Recent visual acuity exam with Jaeger 1 letters at no less than 12 inches within the last year
• Certification documentation for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training, experience records, examination results, and vision tests
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfort with climbing ladders, working at heights, and crawling in tanks and confined space
• Ability to pass general examinations cover basic principles of RT inspection
• Ability to pass exam addressing equipment operating procedures, test techniques, specifications codes, and acceptance criteria
• Ability to pass practical examinations focus on performance in X-ray and Gamma radiography
