Carpenter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Trim Carpenters for projects located in and around Knoxville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $25/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Install commercial storefront glass 
• Install, fit, & finish trim, baseboards, moldings, & other carpentry elements according to project specifications
• Measure, cut, & shape wood, plastic, or other materials with precision & attention to detail
• Perform touch-ups, adjustments, & final finishes on completed work to achieve a polished look
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Experience in the trade
• Ability to read & interpret blueprints
• Strong knowledge of materials and carpentry techniques including use of power tools, hand tools, & equipment 
  • Knowledge of glass installation techniques is a plus
  • Experience installing storefront glass is a plus
