Marine Outside Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Outside Machinist for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $28/hour based on experience plus $150/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are an Outside Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:  

• Assemble/Installation of Complex Mechanical Systems; Meeting Alignment Criteria of Systems & Equipment
• Maintain & Repair Ships Propulsion & Auxiliary Systems
• Use Precision Measurement Tools Proficiently
• Other Tasks as Assigned

• 5+ Years of Recent Marine Outside Machinist Experience
• Ability to Read and Interpret Mechanical Drawings, Written Instructions and Manuals
• Ability to Read and Comprehend Hydraulic & Pneumatic Diagrams
• Must have an Understanding of both Imperial & Metric System
• Must have an Understanding of Shop Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Decimals & Fractions
