Forklift Operator

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Forklift Operators for projects located in and around Oregon City, OR.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $24.28/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are a Forklift Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Operate Sit-Down and Stand-up Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, Automated Pallet Jacks, and other Industrial Vehicles
• Load and Unload Metal Bars and Tubes from Trailers
• Build Pallets and Pick Pallets as Needed 
• Stack Crates, Pallets, Lumbers, and other Materials
• Load Goods onto Conveyor Belts
• Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area

Requirements:

• • Able to Read and Understand Packaging and Shipping Documents
  • Strong Safety Knowledge and Adherence to Safety Guidelines
  • Able to Perform Basic Math Calculations
  • Excellent Hand-eye Coordination and Peripheral Vision
  • Good Spatial Awareness and Ability to Manage Time Efficiently
  • Able to Lift 50 Pounds
  • Great Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Work Independently as well as Part of a Team
  • Working Knowledge of Basic Tools and Vehicle  is a Plus
