Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-34/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:       

• Retrieving parts from staging areas 
• Prep weldments for priming and finish coating 
• Position and secure work piece to table 
• Angle plate or vises and verify positions 
• Interpret machine readings and add or subtract weight depending on reading 
• Drill, grind, chip or file metal from heavy side
• Weld, solder or rivet pieces to light side to correct imbalance

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an industrial production setting and must be able to work at a fast pace 
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to know specifications
