Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Orange, TX area. This is a first & second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $31-33/hour based on experience plus $80/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Identify all tools required for tasks
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications
• Install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans and applicable specifications
• Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment

• Must pass drug screen, and background check
• All Industrial Pipefitter tools
• All PPE, and steel toed boots
