Fork Truck Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Fork Truck Mechanics for projects located in the Roanoke, IN area. We're hiring for all shifts and the pay rate is $28.58/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of mechanical pneumatic or hydraulic system malfunctions or failures on fork truck equipment / lift equipment and execute the most feasible method of repair

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machines equipment and systems

• Proactive use of cmms to keep fleet operational and avoid breakdowns

• Maintain parts inventory for lift truck fleet

• Maintain the forklift repair area

• Use hoists, wrenches, gauges, drills, grinders, other specialized auto mechanic tools, and equipment

• 3+ years experience as a Fork Truck Mechanic
• Prefer to be certified to repair one of the following: Clark Hyster Linde Toyota Crown or Cat fork truck
• Working knowledge of both internal combustion, electric lifts as well as hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic testing equipment
