Licensed Industrial Electrician

Tradesmen International is currently hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Notress, TX.  This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of up to $35.50/hour based on experience and skill level.  If you are an Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Install and Maintain Basic Wiring Systems and Motor Controls
• Inspect and Replace Panels
• Check and Replace Fuses or Circuit Breakers
• Measure, Cut, Bend, Thread, Assemble, and Install Electrical Conduit using such Tools as a Hacksaw, Pipe Threader, Rules, and Conduit Benders
• Install Control and Distribution Apparatus such as Switches, Relays, and Circuit Breaker Panels, and Fasten in Place with Crews or Bolts using Hand or Power Tools
• Test Continuity of Circuit to Ensure Electrical Compatibility and Safety of Components using Testing Instruments such as Ohmmeter, Battery, and Buzzer and Oscilloscope
• Observe Functioning of Installed Equipment or System to Determine Hazards and Need for Adjustments Relocation or Replacement
• Disassemble and Repairs Defective Electrical Equipment or Systems

Requirements:

• • Minimum of 4 Years of Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance Experience
  • TDLR Journeyman License
  • Able to Fabricate and Install Rigid and Aluminum EMT, Plasti-Bond, and PVC Conduit
  • Able to Use Mechanical Benders using Hydraulic Benders
  • Able to Pass Drug Screen
  • Reliable Means of Transportation
  • Able to Read Blueprints, Electrical Drawings, Panel Schedules, and Schematics
  • NCCER is a Plus
