Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in the Milwaukee, WI area. This is a second shift opportunity and the pay rate is $20-26/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:      

• Weld IBeam frame and fuel tanks in flat/vertical overhead positions 
• Work with sheet metal thickness in a range from 10 gauge up to inch 
• Clamp, hold, tack weld, grind and/or bolt component parts 
• Secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire and bending machines or hand tools 
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions

• Must have full welding PPE
• Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure 
• Must be able to read blueprints
• GMAW MIG/MAG experience preferred 
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solved 
• Must be able to pass a competency test and physical including a drug screening 
• Must be able to pass a math test working with fractions
