Motor Winder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Motor Winders for projects located in the Vernon, CA area. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $25-30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Assemble & install various types of coils in AC/DC rotating machines
• Inspect electromechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical failure
• Dismantle string and record coil data for AC and DC machines, motors, and generators
• Cut, form & insert insulation into rotor stator or armature slots
• Identify electrical configurations of all motor types
• Modify or reconfigure motor windings
• Perform quality control testing after the stator or armature is wound
• Complete required job documentation
• Clean and organize the shop

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience specifically in winding
• Proficient in using precision measuring devices such as micrometers and calipers
