Maintenance Pipefitter

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Pipefitters for projects located in the Newport News, VA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27.31/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:          

• Install, maintain, and repair live mechanical piping systems
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Plumbing, Mechanical, and Gasfitter codes during installation and repair processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical piping systems effectively and efficiently
• Work with other trades and project teams to ensure proper installation and system functionality
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing tasks

• Experience in the installation and repair of live mechanical piping systems
• Familiarity with Plumbing Mechanical and Gasfitter codes
• Journeymans Plumbing or Gasfitter License is a plus
• 5+ years of experience
