Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Marine Electricians for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $28/hour based on experience & skill level plus $150/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

 

Job Scope:

  • Install, repair, & hook up equipment for all electrical services on the ship 
  • Lay out, pull lifts out 
  • Install cable & conduit 
  • Prepare work area
  • Drill holes 
  • Grind metal surfaces & weld mounting equipment
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience working as an Electrician in the Shipyard
  • Must have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, & shipbuilding practices
  • Ability to use power & hand tools
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Must have Marine OSHA 10 & Firewatch Training
  • Must pass background check
  • Must pass drug screen
