Tradesmen International is immediately hiring motivated Flat Welders for projects located in the Tipton, IA area. This is a full time opportunity and the pay rate is $22-26/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Flat Welder ready to hone your skills while mastering new ones alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:         

• MIG weld I-beams
• Weld and fabricate parts using various welding techniques from a variety of materials as specified in blueprints
• Cut material using acetylene and/or plasma torch
• Drill holes as required for fabrication
• Prepare welding process by moving materials to stands using forklift
• Check measurements of material and locate proper parts
• Read & interpret technical documents and drawings
• Make adjustments to fit application according to blueprints by cutting and/or grinding
• Recut parts to fit as needed
• Use a grinder
