Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Maintenance Technicians for projects located in and around Shelbyville, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of $28-32/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Maintenance Technician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery 
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine specific malfunctioning issues
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment within facility
• Installation and setup of new equipment
• Ensure proper functionality 
• Read equipment manuals & interpret drawings
• Maintain equipment properly
• Perform general repairs and maintenance on and within the facility
• Communicate with  management regarding equipment faults & corrective actions techniques
• Keep accurate and timely records of maintenance activities 
• Prioritize and complete daily work orders 
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Electrical Experience 
• Mechanically and Technically Inclined
• Strong Organizational & Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to Read Electrical & Mechanical Schematics
• Attention to Detail
