Electrician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Electricians for projects located in and around Lafayette, IN. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $37/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Electrician and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Work on circuits & large scale electrical equipment from 4160 volts down to 110 volts
• Measure, cut, & install wiring & conduit systems
• Install and program electrical equipment
• troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections & oiling electrical motors and components
• Interpret PLC ladder logic programs
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 6+ Years of Experience in the field 
• Must have Commercial Electrical Experience 
• Must have Experience working with Hand Tools, Power Tools, & Electronic Test Equipment
• Forklift and/or Scissor Lift Certification
• Knowledge of Technological Developments
• Knowledge of NEC & Local Electrical Codes
• Ability to lift heavy objects 
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics
• Communication Skills
• Strong Attention to Detail
