Cable Puller

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Cable Pullers for projects located in and around San Diego, CA. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $19/hour based on experience & skill level.  If you are a Cable Puller and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! 

Job Scope:

• Cable pulling/placement
• Work with sheathed cables of various sizes/weight through ducts & stuffing tubes
• Move equipment and/or material
• Push long, flexible steel ribbon fish tape or rods through ducts
• Attach wire to rod or fish tape
• Pull wire through ducts 
• Attach wire to cable & pull cable through ducts by hand or using winch
• Properly secure and band cables once pulls are approved
• Monitor a prescribed area of concern & keep records of any suspicious or potentially hazardous conditions
• Activate appropriate alarms and promptly contact emergency response personnel as necessary
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have OSHA 10 Maritime, Firewatch Certification
• Must have proper PPE
• Must be a US Citizen 
• Must pass Drug Screen
• Must be available to work any shift as needed
