HVAC Installer

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced Journeyman HVAC Installers for projects located in the Erie, PA area. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level.  Job Scope:        

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems in a newly constructed office building
• Perform installations of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, ensuring all components are correctly placed and connected
• Inspect, test, and repair HVAC systems, including electrical components, refrigerant lines, and ductwork
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and compliance with safety and building codes
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Work with electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and control systems, to ensure proper system operation
• Handle refrigerants in compliance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines

• Proven experience in HVAC system installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Strong knowledge of electrical components, refrigerants, and ductwork
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
• Familiarity with HVAC system components such as compressors, evaporators, and condensers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulatory compliance, including handling refrigerants (EPA certification is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
