HVAC Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman HVAC Technicians for projects located in and around the Port Saint Lucie, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate that is based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:

• Repair & maintain systems
• Fix HVAC & refrigeration systems
• Replace parts & repair walking coolers/freezers
• Calibrate thermostats; ensure correct temperatures are maintained
• Test for leaks; use pressure gauges to test pipe & tubing joints for leaks
• Test electrical circuits & components & make repairs 
• Determine HVAC systems energy, use & make recommendations to improve efficiency
• Install new systems according to blueprints & wiring plans
• Communicate with clients; explain issues, provide maintenance tips & discuss potential system upgrades
• Other tasks as assigned
